True SMD Package for Pick-and-Place — side metallized pads (15 mm total width) mate with standard SMT feeders; drop into reflow with no hand insertion, no wave soldering, no harness.
Ultra-Slim 1.7 mm Height, 0.5 g Weight — the thinnest piezo alerting option for glucometers, smartwatches, TWS lids and sub-2 mm device housings.
Black LCP Housing, Reflow Proof — liquid crystal polymer withstands lead-free reflow peaks up to 260 °C without delamination, blistering or discoloration.
4.1 kHz Passive Element, MCU-Programmable — feed a square wave at 4.1 kHz for peak output; sweep frequency in firmware for chimes and multi-tone alarms instead of a fixed beep.
Wide Drive 1–20 Vp-p, Only 7 mA — direct drive from 3 V / 5 V MCU GPIO; capacitive element draws near-zero DC current for battery-powered medical and IoT devices.
≥75 dB SPL at 5 Vp-p / 10 cm — clear, intelligible indoor alert for handheld medical instruments and personal electronics.
Anti-Misorientation Side Pads — asymmetric SMT pads let the pick-and-place camera identify pin 1, eliminating reverse mounting.
RoHS Compliant, -20 °C ~ +70 °C Operation; tape & reel for high-volume assembly.

Medical Handheld — glucometers, blood pressure monitors, pulse oximeters, portable diagnostic devices, hearing-assist tools
Wearables & Hearables — TWS charging cases, smartwatches, fitness bands, temperature patches
Home Appliances — washing machine panel beepers, microwave/rice-cooker end signals, humidifier alarms
Remote Controls — Bluetooth voice remotes, TV/set-top-box remotes, presentation clickers
Smart Home — smart locks, doorbells, touch switches, leak detectors, alarm keypads
Low-Power IoT — battery sensor nodes, asset trackers, smart meters, beacon tags
Toys & Novelties — greeting cards, mini voice modules, educational flashcards
Built for Real SMT Production — LCP housing and side pads pass standard lead-free reflow; no through-hole labor, no wave-solder fixture.
Fits Where Nothing Else Does — 1.7 mm thickness and 0.5 g weight open designs impossible with 7 mm through-hole buzzers.
MCU Sound Control, Not Just a Beep — passive element lets firmware play multi-tone notifications and melodies on demand.
Battery-Friendly 7 mA — capacitive draw suits glucose meters and battery wearables that cannot afford quiescent current.
Full OEM/ODM Flexibility — alternate frequencies (2/4/8 kHz), pad layout, wire-lead or connector versions, and custom reel quantities available.
Q1: Is this active or passive? It is a passive SMD piezo buzzer. Drive it with a square wave at 4.1 kHz (≈50% duty) from an MCU PWM pin; DC voltage alone produces no sound.
Q2: Can it survive reflow soldering? Yes. The black LCP housing is rated for lead-free reflow peaks up to 260 °C; follow the JEDEC J-STD-020 curve in the datasheet.
Q3: How do I drive it from a 3 V / 5 V MCU? Connect one SMD pad to a GPIO PWM output (4.1 kHz square wave) and the other to GND. For louder output at higher voltage, use an NPN/MOSFET stage with a limiting resistor.
Q4: How loud is 75 dB? At 5 Vp-p measured 10 cm away, 75 dB is a clear indoor alert — suitable for handheld medical devices and personal electronics held near the user, not for open-floor industrial alarms.
Q5: Do you supply tape & reel? Yes. Volume orders ship tape & reel on standard reels, ESD-shielded and moisture-bagged for SMT feeders.
Q6: Can I get a wire-lead version? Yes. Standard is SMD pads; wire-lead, JST connector and through-hole variants are available on request.
