Q: Is this electromagnetic buzzer active or passive? A: It is passive magnetic buzzer. Square wave signal input is required; it cannot work directly with DC voltage.
Q: What is the difference between magnetic buzzer and piezo buzzer? A: Electromagnetic buzzers produce softer, less sharp sound; piezo buzzers normally have higher dB and sharper tone.
Q: Can this buzzer go through reflow soldering? A: Yes. LCP housing material can withstand standard SMT reflow temperature profile.
