This passive piezoelectric buzzer works based on the piezoelectric effect of ceramic wafer. When square wave signal is applied to piezo ceramic sheet, the ceramic will deform and vibrate rapidly to generate sound. Different from active buzzers, it does NOT contain built-in oscillation circuit. External MCU square wave drive signal is mandatory. You can customize different beep sounds by adjusting the output signal.
