This electromagnetic buzzer works on electromagnetic induction principle. When square wave current flows into internal coil, alternating magnetic field attracts and releases the metal diaphragm continuously to vibrate and emit sound. This is a passive electromagnetic buzzer, without built-in oscillation circuit. External MCU square wave driving signal is required. Its mid-frequency tone performs better than piezo buzzers for small device prompt alerts.
