4 Ω / 2 W Rated Power (2.5 W Max) — low impedance pairs efficiently with small Class-D amplifier ICs; 2 W headroom handles voice peaks and short audio clips without clipping.
85 dB Sensitivity (0.1 W / 0.1 m) — high-efficiency Mylar diaphragm produces loud, intelligible vocal output from low-power amplifier stages, saving battery life.
Wide Frequency Response 600 Hz – 20 kHz — covers the entire speech band (300 Hz – 3.4 kHz) plus high-frequency alert tones; minimal coloration for TTS and microphone playback.
Square Flange with Dual Mounting Tabs — 28.05 * 28.62 mm frame with four Φ1.9/Φ2.2 mm screw holes; rigid screw-down installation resists vibration and resonance better than adhesive-only speakers.
Pre-Terminated 100 mm Twisted Leads — UL1571 #32 red/black twisted pair reduces electromagnetic interference inside the enclosure; Red = (+), Black = (−).
Low Distortion <10 % at 1 kHz, No Buzz or Rattle — rigorously tested at 2.83 V sine wave across 300 Hz – 3.4 kHz for clean, rattle-free audio.
Lightweight 17.6 g, RoHS Compliant — consistent OEM quality, compact enough for desktop and wall-mounted installations.

Smart Home & IoT — smart speakers, wall control panels, video doorbells, alarm hosts, thermostats
POS & Commercial — cash registers, queue call systems, vending machines, digital signage, elevator announcement
Security & Intercom — door access intercoms, indoor monitors, panic stations, guard touring systems
Medical Equipment — desktop patient monitors, nebulizers, therapeutic devices (non-critical audio)
Automotive & EV — aftermarket head units, dashcams, EV chargers, parking assist modules
Education & Toys — early-learning machines, storytellers, children's tablets, talking flashcards
Small PA & Announcement — shop window displays, hotel room alarms, meeting room speakers
Engineered for Voice, Not Just Beeps — Mylar diaphragm tuned for 600 Hz – 20 kHz speech band, so TTS announcements and caller names are clearly intelligible, unlike piezo buzzers that only beep.
Screw-Down Flange Survives Real-World Vibration — four-point mounting tabs resist road vibration, door slam shock and prolonged mechanical use; adhesive-only speakers eventually peel loose.
High Efficiency Means Longer Battery Life — 85 dB from 0.1 W lets small Class-D amps (NS4150, PAM8303, MAX98357A) drive the speaker at less than half volume, extending runtime.
Twisted-Pair Leads Suppress Noise — the UL1571 #32 twisted red/black pair rejects digital switching noise from nearby DC-DC converters, keeping background hiss low.
Full OEM/ODM Customization — alternate impedance (8 Ω / 4 Ω), power rating (1 W / 2 W / 3 W), lead length (50–300 mm), connector (JST PH/XH/Molex), and custom flange shapes available.
Q1: Is this a 4 Ω or 8 Ω speaker? The TATSP23A-001 is 4 Ω ±10% per the factory datasheet. We also manufacture 8 Ω versions on request — please specify your target impedance when requesting a quote.
Q2: Can I use it with a 5 V / 3.3 V GPIO amplifier? Yes. With 85 dB sensitivity at 0.1 W, even a 3.3 V Class-D amp module such as PAM8303 or MAX98357A will drive it to clearly audible levels. For maximum SPL, use a dedicated audio amp rated 2 W into 4 Ω.
Q3: How do I mount it? The square flange has two side mounting tabs with Φ1.9 and Φ2.2 mm holes. Secure with M2 / M2.5 screws onto the inner wall of your enclosure, aligning the front face with your housing's sound outlet hole.
Q4: Which wire is positive? Red = Positive (+), Black = Negative (−). Applying positive voltage to the red terminal pushes the diaphragm outward. Reverse polarity will not damage the speaker but will flip the phase and reduce bass output.
Q5: Do I need a sealed rear chamber? Yes. For best low-frequency response and SPL, design a sealed rear chamber of ≥ 3 cm³ behind the speaker. An open rear reduces bass and can cause cancellation noise.
Q6: What amplifier ICs do you recommend? Common pairings include NS4150 (3 W mono Class-D), PAM8303 (3 W), MAX98357A (3 W I²S), and TPA2005D1. Our app engineering team can recommend a specific part for your power budget.
