90 dB High Sensitivity (1 W / 0.1 m) — among the loudest 18 mm Mylar speakers on the market; even a 3.3 V Class-D amp drives it to clearly audible voice and chime levels.
8 Ω ±15% / 1 W Rated (1.2 W Max) — universal impedance compatible with Bluetooth SoCs, mobile codecs and standard Class-D amplifier ICs.
F0 as Low as 800 Hz, Bandwidth to 20 kHz — deeper low-end than typical 18 mm speakers (F0 ≈ 1 kHz), so voice, TTS and short melodies sound natural rather than thin.
Round Φ18 mm Standard Footprint — industry-standard 18 mm diameter drops into existing tooling, replacing most generic 18 mm Mylar speakers without redesign.
4.3 mm Thin Profile, 2.3 g Weight — fits inside slim smart-lock bodies, remote controls and TWS lids without bulking up the product.
Top Mounting Tab with Φ1.9 Hole — alignment tab hooks onto a positioning post during assembly, guaranteeing the sound port lines up with the enclosure hole before the adhesive or screw secures the speaker.
80 mm Twisted Red/Black Leads, 1.25 mm JST Connector — factory-crimped Lianhe A1254 1.25-2P plug on UL1571 #30 Φ0.8 twisted wire; twist suppresses EMI from nearby DC-DC circuits.
Low Distortion <10% at 2 kHz, No Buzz or Rattle — rigorously tested at 2.83 V sine wave from F0 to 5 kHz for clean, rattle-free audio.

Louder Than the Competition — at 90 dB SPL, this 18 mm Mylar speaker outperforms generic 18 mm units (85–87 dB) by a clear margin, so voice alerts are audible even in noisy living rooms or workshops.
Deeper Bass, Fuller Voice — F0 of 800 Hz extends 200 Hz below typical 18 mm speakers, giving TTS announcements and caller names a warmer, more natural tone.
Standard 18 mm Drop-In Replacement — Φ18 mm round body matches industry-standard tooling; swap into existing 18 mm enclosures without re-spin.
Locator Tab Eliminates Assembly Misalignment — the small top tab with Φ1.9 hole lets operators hook and locate before pressing, so the sound port never lands off-center.
Full OEM/ODM Flexibility — alternate impedance (4 Ω / 16 Ω / 32 Ω), lead length (30–200 mm), connector (JST PH2.0 / XH2.54 / Molex), foam thickness and custom color housings available.
Q1: Is this 8 Ω or 32 Ω? The TATSP18A-001 is 8 Ω ±15% per factory datasheet. We also manufacture 16 Ω / 32 Ω variants for headphone-line drive from low-power Bluetooth SoCs — specify your impedance requirement when requesting a quote.
Q2: How loud is 90 dB? Measured at 1 W input, 10 cm away, 90 dB is roughly the volume of a busy street voice — clearly audible across a room. At lower volumes (0.1 W) output drops to about 80 dB, still perfectly intelligible for indoor voice prompts.
Q3: How do I mount it? Hook the top tab's Φ1.9 hole over a positioning post on your enclosure, then press the speaker body flat. It secures either with the pre-applied foam adhesive ring or by a small screw through the tab. Align the Φ13 mm sound outlet with your housing's sound hole.
Q4: What amplifier should I use? Any 8 Ω Class-D amp rated 1–2 W works: PAM8303, NS4150, MAX98357A, TPA2005D1, or the built-in amp in Bluetooth SoCs such as JL AC696N, BES2600, Telink B87.
Q5: Does it play music? It is optimized for voice, TTS, notifications and short ringtones (F0–20 kHz). It can play brief melodies and podcast clips, but is not designed for high-fidelity music playback.
Q6: Do I need a rear chamber? Yes. For best low-end extension, design a sealed rear cavity of 0.3–0.5 cm³ behind the speaker. An open-backed installation reduces bass and may cause rattling.
