PCB Through-Hole Pin Mount, No Connector Needed — rigid red/black pins (15 ± 3 mm long) insert directly into PCB pads and wave-solder by hand; eliminates JST connectors, wire harnesses and crimping steps on the assembly line.
90 dB High Sensitivity (0.5 W / 10 cm) — loud, intelligible voice from a 3.3 V / 0.5 W Class-D amp; no boost transformer or charge pump required.
F0 as Low as 850 Hz, Bandwidth to 20 kHz — deeper bass than typical 16 mm speakers (F0 ≈ 1.1 kHz), so TTS announcements and short melodies sound natural rather than tinny.
Dual Fixing: Pins + Adhesive Foam Ring — pins carry signal and position the speaker; the 0.5 mm mesh foam ring seals the rear chamber against the housing and dampens micro-vibration to prevent rattle.
Ultra-Slim 16 × 9 × 3.5 mm Rectangle — drops into tight smart-lock bodies, remote controls and TWS lids without bulking up industrial design.
Wide Temperature -30 °C ~ +65 °C — industrial-grade range for outdoor locks, vehicle interiors and cold-climate products, beyond standard consumer speakers (0 °C to +50 °C).
8 Ω ±10% / 0.5 W Rated (0.7 W Max) — universal impedance pairing with Bluetooth SoCs, mobile codecs and common Class-D amp ICs.
Low Distortion <10% at 1 kHz, No Buzz or Rattle — tested at 2.0 V sine wave across 300 Hz – 3.4 kHz for clean, rattle-free output.

Toys & Education — storytellers, talking flashcards, educational robots, electronic greeting cards
Skip the Connector Stage — PCB pins eliminate JST plugs, wire harnesses and hand crimping; operators just insert, solder and press onto the foam seal. Lower assembly cost, fewer failure points.
90 dB from a 0.5 W Stage — high-efficiency Mylar diaphragm drives usable voice volume from small amp ICs, saving battery runtime in portable products.
Dual Fixing Eliminates Rattle — unlike adhesive-only speakers that peel loose over time, the PCB pins hold the speaker electrically and mechanically while the foam ring isolates enclosure vibration.
True Wide-Temperature Build -30 °C to +65 °C suits outdoor smart locks, cold-climate wearables and vehicle cabins where consumer-grade speakers fail.
Full OEM/ODM Flexibility — alternate impedance (4 Ω / 16 Ω / 32 Ω), pin length, wire-lead or connector variants, foam thickness and custom housing colors available.
Q1: Is this 8 Ω? The TATSP1609A-001 is 8.0 Ω ±10% per factory datasheet. We also produce 4 Ω, 16 Ω and 32 Ω variants — specify your target impedance when requesting a quote.
Q2: How do I mount and solder it? Insert the red and black pins through matching holes in your PCB, solder wave or hand, then press the speaker body onto the enclosure wall so the 0.5 mm foam ring seals the rear chamber. The small side tab aligns the sound port with your housing hole.
Q3: How loud is 90 dB at 0.5 W? Measured 10 cm away, 90 dB at 0.5 W is comparable to a loud alarm clock or raised conversation — clearly audible indoors and in quiet commercial settings.
Q4: Which amplifier pairs with this speaker? Any 8 Ω Class-D amp rated 0.5–1 W works: PAM8303, NS4150, MAX98357A, TPA2005D1, or the built-in amp in Bluetooth SoCs (JL AC696N, BES2600, Telink).
Q5: Can I replace the pins with wire leads? Yes. Standard version is through-hole pins. We supply wire-lead, JST PH2.0 / XH2.54 / Molex connector variants on request.
Q6: Do I need a rear chamber? Yes. The foam ring creates a natural seal against the enclosure; design a rear cavity of 0.2–0.4 cm³ behind the speaker for best low-end response.
